BOTOX® treatment is a revolutionary approach to reversing the effects of facial wrinkles. Crow’s feet, worry lines, and laugh lines can all be a thing of the past. These are referred to as dynamic wrinkle lines and all are treatable with this procedure. Cosmetic denervation is the process of injecting botox into the tiny facial muscles that create wrinkles.
Before Surgery
To better understand your overall health, we will evaluate your medical history prior to surgery. In addition, a complete examination of your eyes is made in order to decide the most effective injection sites. All issues and concerns will be discussed.
The areas that will be treated are marked and digital photographs are taken in order to determine the amount of improvement after surgery.
The BOTOX® Procedure
BOTOX® injections are performed without anesthesia because it is virtually painless. Only a very small sting is felt when the injections are made. The effects are not permanent and may need to be repeated two to three times per year to retain the effects. Research has suggested, however, that long-term use of the injections leads to a longer duration of each treatment’s effect. Patients over the age of 65 may not experience as dramatic of results. Botox is only useful in treating expression lines and cannot be used to repair sagging skin caused by aging.
Post-Operative Information
After the operation patients may experience slight bruising around the area that quickly fades. Normal activities can be performed immediately. Possible side effects are temporary weakness of nearby muscles or in rare cases, an eyelid may droop. BOTOX® is completely reversible so any side effect is only a temporary condition. The doctor will explain all risks associated at the time of your consultation.

After moving to Lancaster in March of this year (2016) I required a dentist to service my denture and implants. The first dentist contacted sold me insurance but wouldn't service my denture. After two months of being 'put off'' I contacted a second dentist who botched the procedure and left me in discomfort. A third dentist was very helpful and when she could not adequately resolve my issue, referred me to Dr. Weierbach. He saw me that same day, discussed the issues with me, and scheduled an appointment to resolve them. Am thankful that all was resolved quickly and efficiently by a caring and professional staff.

After repeatedly breaking a front tooth over last couple decades, the tooth finally broke at the gum line requiring drastic repair. Dr Weierbach was one of a few who were recommended for consultation. Despite already setting up a treatment plan elsewhere, I chose Dr. Weierbach who recommended a different approach which did not require removing ALL my front teeth but did require extensive work to open up a very tight bite. This also was more costly but ultimately should not risk damaging any new dental work since with a more open bite, my teeth would not be impacting each other. After numerous visits required to open my bite, and the removal of only the one broken tooth, I walked out with a new smile and much better appearance. I also opted to whiten my remaining natural teeth with the Zoom procedure which did not cause any pain, "zingers" or any discomfort other than the inablity to eat all my usual dark foods for 3 days. I would highly recommend Dr. Weierbach and his staff.

I came to Dr.weirbach when I was about 20 I had dental implants that I've had done at 17 due to an accident somewhere else I ended up get infections almost all the time, food was pilling up in them an I had no way of getting into clean them also every time I would bite down an they would constantly crack or break my smile was lost I swore I'll never smile or josh my mouth then my mother searched online an we found Weirbachs office so I came in for consult an automatically he knew they needed to be redone.Thanks to Dr.Weirbach I a brand new beautiful smile there's white as ever,I've had them for almost 5 years now an I've never had an infection or any issues I come once a year for a check up an there still awesome I'm finally complete.

My true experiences with Dr.John Weierbach ll D.M.D. since 1989 has been amazing! Thru his great knowledge of Prosthodontic Dentistry and clinical diagnostics he has truly changed my life and restored it back to healthy. He was able to visibly determine the very early stages of tongue cancer. Great KUDOS are given to Dr.Weierbach D.M.D II at the University of Pa.. Thru early detection I was a great candidate for TORS surgery minimal noninvasive surgery. What a great sense of relief that this maverick to dentistry is in our great hometown of Lancaster PA. I had to have a lot of work completed which started in 2008 and was completed in 2009. I was lucky and met Dr.Weierbach by chance but am glad that I did! I am very pleased with the outcome of all the work performed by Dr. Weierbach and all of his staff. I still go back and have my cleanings and checkups with him. All of the work he has done is working out very well and looks and feels as good today as if it was performed yesterday.

The care and attention to detail by Dr. Weierbach and his staff given to their patients is outstanding. I knew without a doubt that I had made the right choice for the extensive work I needed on my teeth. My front teeth seemed to break easily and needed constant repairs.
