Sherry – Front Office Coordinator
Sherry graduated from the Willow Street Dental Assisting Program in 1991. She has been a member of Dr. Weierbach’s team providing sincere and efficient customer service since 1999. Sherry says, Giving great customer service is one of my priorities. She is a busy wife and mother of two sons. She is a ice hockey and military mom. She enjoys spending time boating on the bay with her friends and family.
Susan – Practice Administrator
Sue has spent more than three decades developing her expertise in practice management. She has been a part of Dr. Weierbach’s office from the beginning of his practice in 1989. Her managerial skills are exceptional and she says I can’t image doing anything else for anyone else. Sue is a graduate of PSU and her true colors run black and gold with her favorite teams –The Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. When not serving Dr. Weierbach’s patients, she enjoys sharing her passion for travel with her husband as they explore national parks or cruising fabulous European ports of call.
Chelsee – Dental Assistant, EDFD
Chelsee earned the status of #1 Dental Assisting Student in Pennsylvania in 2006, which awarded her the opportunity to participate in the National Dental Assisting Competition and receive recognition from the National Technical Honors Society. In 2012, Chelsee completed her certification in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Chelsee says, I enjoy seeing the patients gain more confidence within themselves after every visit. Our patients are very important to us and are more like our family. Outside of the practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and is getting ready to have their first son.
Jennifer – Front Office Coordinator, Dental Assistant
Jennifer is a graduate of York Technical Institute Dental Assisting Program. Jennifer’s caring and easy demeanor with the patients, coupled with her chair side skills contribute to the comfortable manner in which she assists her patients in Dr. Weierbach’s practice. She says, I love being a part of changing a patient’s smile and seeing how that makes a difference in their lives. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her daughter and family and her favorite place is the beach
Amanda – Dental Assistant, EFDA
Amanda is a graduate of Willow Street LCCTC for dental assisting in 2011. In 2015 she continued her education earning her State Certification in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, so she could have more knowledge and skills in the dental field. Amanda has always been artist whether that be in drawing or sculpting, and loves using her artist skills in Dr. Weierbach’s practice helping patients love their smile again. In her spare time Amanda enjoys traveling to new places and socializing with friends and family.
Nina – Registered Dental Hygienist
Nina is a graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in Boston, MA. She brings more than three decades of expertise as a hygienist, providing her expert care in Dr. Weierbach’s office since 1992. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and the local network of dental hygienists. She stays current by attending many continuing education courses and conventions. Nina says, What I love most about my chosen career, especially here at Dr. Weierbach’s, is the one- to one contact with our patients. She is regularly drawn back to her native New England where she spends family vacations with her husband and family. She loves Maine and enjoys relaxing on the beach with a good book.
Melissa Johnston – Dental Assistant
Melissa joined our practice in 2017. She is a graduate from Willow Street LCCTC Dental Assisting Program. She was awarded 1st place in Skills USA competition for the state of Pennsylvania, which allows her to compete on a national level in June 2017, and she placed 4th in the nation. Melissa has also received her Associate’s degree in digital arts in 2008. She is currently working on her advanced dental assistant degree and will be finished in 2019. She says that she loves the fact that she gets to blend together her love for art and her passion for dental here at Dr. Weierbach’s practice. Her and her husband enjoy outdoor activities with their dog, Maddie. They also try to make traveling a priority and want to see the world.
