Sherry - Front Office Coordinator

Sherry – Front Office Coordinator

Joined 1999

Sherry graduated from the Willow Street Dental Assisting Program in 1991. She has been a member of Dr. Weierbach’s team providing sincere and efficient customer service since 1999. Sherry says, Giving great customer service is one of my priorities. She is a busy wife and mother of two sons. She is a ice hockey and military mom. She enjoys spending time boating on the bay with her friends and family.

Susan - Practice Administrator

Susan – Practice Administrator

Joined 1989

Sue has spent more than three decades developing her expertise in practice management. She has been a part of Dr. Weierbach’s office from the beginning of his practice in 1989. Her managerial skills are exceptional and she says I can’t imagine doing anything else for anyone else. Sue is a graduate of PSU and her true colors run black and gold with her favorite teams –The Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. When not serving Dr. Weierbach’s patients, she enjoys sharing her passion for travel with her husband as they explore national parks or cruising fabulous European ports of call.

Chelsee – Dental Assistant, EFDA

Joined 2006

Chelsee earned the status of #1 Dental Assisting Student in Pennsylvania in 2006, which awarded her the opportunity to participate in the National Dental Assisting Competition and receive recognition from the National Technical Honors Society. In 2012, Chelsee completed her certification in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Chelsee says I enjoy seeing the patients gain more confidence within themselves after every visit. Our patients are very important to us and are more like our family. Outside of the practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and is getting ready to have their first son.

Amanda - Dental Assistant, EFDA

Amanda – Dental Assistant, EFDA

Joined 2011

Amanda is a graduate of Willow Street LCCTC for dental assisting in 2011. In 2015 she continued her education earning her State Certification in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting, so she could have more knowledge and skills in the dental field. Amanda has always been an artist whether that be in drawing or sculpting and loves using her artist skills in Dr. Weierbach’s practice helping patients love their smile again. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling to new places and socializing with friends and family.

Gretchen - Dental Hygienist

Gretchen – Registered Dental Hygienist

Joined 2020

Weierbach Prosthodontics is excited to welcome Gretchen to our team. Gretchen brings 24 years of experience in Dental Hygiene, earning her associate’s degree at Harrisburg Area Community College, where she received the Clark J. Hollister award for outstanding ability in dental hygiene education. Gretchen then went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology, graduating Cum Laude. In 2010, she received additional training and licensure for local anesthesia. Gretchen has a passion for providing exceptional care and values the relationships she forms with her patients. Gretchen feels it is a privilege to work with patients in helping them achieve their best overall health and the smile they’ve always wanted.

As a native New Englander, Gretchen and her family continue to visit and spend time over the holidays in New England. In her free time, you can find Gretchen reading, scrapbooking, hanging out with friends, and attending her son’s sporting events.

Melissa Johnston - Dental Assistant

Melissa Johnston – Dental Assistant, EFDA

Joined 2017

Melissa joined our practice in 2017. She is a graduate from the Willow Street LCCTC Dental Assisting Program. She was awarded 1st place in Skills USA competition for the state of Pennsylvania, which allows her to compete on a national level in June 2017, and she placed 4th in the nation. Melissa has also received her Associate’s degree in digital arts in 2008. She is currently working on her advanced dental assistant degree and will be finished in 2019. She says that she loves the fact that she gets to blend together her love for art and her passion for dental here at Dr. Weierbach’s practice. She and her husband enjoy outdoor activities with their dog, Maddie. They also try to make traveling a priority and want to see the world.
