Meet Dr. John A. Weierbach DMD, Lancaster PA Prosthodontist
Dr. Weierbach has practiced more than 25 years in clinical dentistry. This experience and the recognition of his peers have set Dr. Weierbach apart in the ADA community. His ongoing extensive educational pursuits, constant review of the latest technologies, and lengthy tenure of more than two decades delivering aesthetic and functional results have contributed to the solid reputation of his prosthodontic practice. As a current member of the Lancaster County Dental Society, he served as the organization's 2009 President.
Dr. Weierbach is a graduate of Bucknell University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and General Practice Residency Certificate. His Prosthodontic Specialty Certificate was awarded by Temple University Dental School.
Dr. Weierbach served as one of the pioneering teams trained in the technique of Teeth in an Hour, the innovative process for one-visit implant restorations (see Implant Dentistry section). He has been an associate instructor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Temple University Dental School. He also lectures extensively to dental colleagues on implant, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry.
Dr. Weierbach is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Lancaster County Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He also serves as a mentor/ consultant in the Lancaster County Dental Study Club, a national collaborative effort of specialists and dentists focused on improving prosthodontic care, procedures and techniques. The practice was also cited as a favorite of Lancaster County Magazine readers and was selected to participate in the magazine's Makeover feature in 2011.
Dr. Weierbach and his wife, Kathy, enjoy an active role in their community together with their three children.
